The Golden Driller was dressed in it’s annual KMOD t-shirt on Friday in preparation for the Tulsa State Fair, which opens Thursday, 9/25.
The Golden Driller is the world’s largest freestanding statue. He’s 76 feet tall and weighs 43,500 pounds. The Driller has been standing in front of the Tulsa Exposition Center, which is now the QuikTrip Center, since 1966.
